BACKGROUND NOTES
Nicoletta Bianchi, "MALEO", studied in Milan at the Brera Institute of Art and subsequently at the Accademy of Applied Art.
Started decorating in 1977 and then concentrated in painting on cloth and similars materials, ceramics and wood. Being a passionate dog lover she then specialized on a series of life scenes figuring Siberian Huskies to be used as Christmas presents. In this way by almost pure chance, initiated an activity wich has show continual development being more and more appreciated by over the most demanding dog lovers.

CURRENT ACTIVITY
Hand painted portraits of all breeds of dog executed on porcelains, cloth or wood. Portraits are normally commissioned and realized from photographs provided by the client for this purpouse. The choice of finished objects is very ample ranging from clay or broaches to wall plates, placques or coffee/tea services, serving dishes or ceramic containers.
Paintings on wood can be executed also using period techinques, small pieces of furniture, boxes, Trunks, cushions, garments and material for household use.
Designs can also be realized on heavy duty paper for visiting cards, logos or other.
The highest standards are guaranted by the fact that only first quality materials are emploied.
The portraits are alwais true to the originals.
