WHEN BUYNG A PUPPY WE RECOMEND:
First examine grown-up
subjects following our
REMARKS ABOUT
BREED
When examining a
Miniature Pinscher remember that:
|
Head should
be elegant, proportionally long, eyes clear, bright and dark, never round. |
|
A well
proportioned chin creates a good-looking expression |
|
Forequarters
should be strong, hindquarters well angulated, shoulders muscular, neck slightly muscular
blending into shoulders, colour solid clear rich vibrant red. |
|
when the
colour is black with sharply defined rust-red markings, the dogs should not be
"nangel-male". In other words, the dogs should not have markings on toes and on
the upper part of the body (this is a problem to be find on the 90 % of dogs characterized
by this colour, and should be avoided). These dogs d not have the proper Miniature
Pinscher's characteristics but Terrier's. |
|
Teeth are an
important detail to be observed: every defect in the set of teeth should be considered
SERIUS and disqualificating. It could only be allowed the lack of the first premolar. |
|
Size:
Miniature Pinscher must never be higher than 30 cm at withers (which is more than the
limit of 25-30 cm for the standard height) |
